LABINAC at Studio Mondial

We are happy to announce, that LABINAC was invited to present designs by Maria Thereza Alves and Jimmie Durham at Studio Mondial in Berlin.

The opening is on Friday, 16th of June, at 6:00 pm

Studio Mondial is opening the first and last exhibition of an imaginary art house on Kurfürstendamm, which will unfold in multiple acts throughout the summer in and around the former Hotel Mondial at Kurfürstendamm 47, corner of Bleibtreustraße.

The diverse program takes inspiration from the history and flair of the boulevard, transforming the house into a meeting place and playground for artistic experiments. It aims to provide a temporary space for cultural and social interaction that goes beyond commercial interests.

The exhibition’s scope will also include public spaces and Kurfürstendamm itself, where the project will expand through actions, interventions, and performances. The program seeks to spark a discussion about the cultural realignment of the boulevard, acting as a cuckoo’s nest.
